A trendy and fresh face to the tea world, the tavalon tea company is bringing tea to people of all ages, cultures, and lifestyles. This is their first location in New York City. It has live music coming from a DJ booth, and an assortment of tea products. They sell tea leaves, special drinks, and accessories(teapots, gift sets, etc). They also have a well designed website where they sell their merchandise in unique gift sets.

my boyfriend took me to this tea bar the other day and we tried three teas, the genius, green tea latte, and herbal oasis. my favorite was the genius while my bf loved the green tea latte. herbal oasis is good if you like rooibos. overall, everything was surprisingly light, NOT bitter, and NOT too sweet. that alone was enough to keep me coming back for more, but service was also very nice as well as the decor. the live dj is a nice touch too.

This place is awesome! I got a bubble tea smoothie last night and it was so much better than the chinatown places. Thank you Tavalon!
