This is the place to go to if you enjoy extremely long waits (at times, over twenty minutes for something as simpe as a sandwich), getting food that is never quite what you ordered, and then having abuse heaped on you if you voice the smallest complaint. Fresh what a misnomer! is my neighborhood caf, so when it first opened, I was excited and willing to overlook small imperfections because of its convenience. Each time I ate there, my orders arrived with alterations that none of the staff had thought to forewarn me about the cheese and avocado sandwich arrived without avocado, the turkey sandwich on the tuscan log arrived on challah bread, and when I asked about the changes, I was told, Oh, we dont have that today. Even after receiving a salad that consisted of half a plate of wilted greens drowned in an inedible sauce, I held on to some hope that the place would shape up. The breaking point came, however, when, one day, I went in with my brother to get turkey, feta, and tomato sandwiches. We got, instead, turkey and wilted lettuce on bread (not the kind we had ordered) that had obviously been sliced and sitting around for a couple of days and was dry and hard like cardboard. When we very politely mentioned this to the waitress, the owner, who had been eavesdropping from the kitchen, flew out and started literally screaming at us at the top of her lungs that we didnt know what we were talking about and how dare we criticize her food. Dont waste your money, or subject yourself to the rudeness of the sociopath of an owner. Go somewhere else.
